Cover My Tracks

If you’re concerned that someone might see you’ve visited this site, there are steps you can take to protect your privacy.

Quick Exit

How to hide that you’ve been visiting the site
If you need to leave this site quickly, close the browser window or tab immediately. We also have a ‘Hide this Site’ button at the top right of the page on desktop and along the bottom on mobile, which takes you to Google if you need to quickly exit our site.

  1. Use Private or Incognito Browsing

Most web browsers offer a mode that doesn’t save your history. This is called:

  • Incognito Mode in Google Chrome
  • Private Browsing in Firefox and Safari
  • InPrivate Browsing in Microsoft Edge

Using these modes means your visit won’t be stored in your browser history.

  1. Clear Your Browsing History

If you didn’t use private browsing, you can still delete your history manually. This includes:

  • Browsing history
  • Cookies and site data
  • Cached images and files

Each browser has its own method for clearing history. You can usually find this option in the browser’s settings or preferences menu.
